When I was in high school I always walked. By choice. Although if it was really cold, I occasionally took a ride if it was offered by a passing driver. Just like last week… it was freezing, the wind was biting, and I saw a student walking home from high school. I almost stopped and offered a ride… then thought better of it for obvious reasons. Sad.

Yeah, all right. Look out the window and it was pretty messy this morning, but the prediction still seems to be for a “mild” winter. Also GHS is still on lockdown, while the Advocate reported Thursday that the note was just “found,” not given to a student. Hopefully police are close to a resolution.
