Five Scholarships to be awarded by Senior Scribes; Teen Scribe Poetry; Garst Museum Event; Boehner Open Door; Edison Professional Programs & More

Hi everyone,

The following have been posted for April 9, 2011, at County News Online:

From the Editor

Politico reported at 8 p.m. that Reps and Dems had reached agreement on rider issues, such as Planned Parenthood, but still hadn’t gotten together on budget numbers. As of 10 p.m. no more news. Editor’s Note: It is April 2011 and the federal government may shut down because the Democratic Congress passed no budget last year. I think that’s worthy of note… don’t you?
